I am school IT technician working for Bristol City Council who had the task to setup an ITsuite of Macbook and a Mac server, and integrating it into a Window Active Directory environment.
I had no previous experience apart from an introductory course that EduMac gave to our team one evening.
I used a self help video that had been put together by EduMac and everything seemed to go as well as expected.
Towards the end of the install I had a few teething problems, EduMac quickly resolved these using Remote Desktop.

The teachers and pupils are “Over the moon” with the results.

I now have the confidence to roll out similar setup in other schools thanks to Edumac.

OS X 10.7 Lion

Apple announced on 6th June that Mac OS X lion 10.7 was due to be released in July 2011. With this exciting news we have been testing Lion to see how it compares to its previous edition Snow Leopard. We thought that it would be hard to beat such a great operating system but Apple has done it again!
