certificates

EduMac was formed in 2009. The founder Ross Hamilton has previously worked in education as a network manager for 5 years. In this time Ross was able to collect a select number of skills involved with Apple technology. In this time Ross was able to become certified in OS X 10.4 and OS X 10.5. With how well Apple integrated in Ashton Park School where Ross was network manager it inspired him to go alone and help other schools with introducing Apple into their network. This was done by producing the site How-To-Mac which offers free advice on integrating Apple into Microsoft networks. This site has picked up lots of interest over the years and then gave Ross the idea to go Full-Time and offer support to other schools through the name “EduMac”

After trading for little under 1 year we have been able to work with many customers on some very exciting projects. If you would like more information on some of the projects EduMac has completed click on the clients link on the menu above.

Here at EduMac we believe that no distance is to far to get what you need. Our office is based in the south in Bristol, but we cover the south East and South west area.

OS X 10.7 Lion

Apple announced on 6th June that Mac OS X lion 10.7 was due to be released in July 2011. With this exciting news we have been testing Lion to see how it compares to its previous edition Snow Leopard. We thought that it would be hard to beat such a great operating system but Apple has done it again! With a few extra features which make Windows integration more cost effective and even better integration techniques. Feel free to email for more information.
